THE FILM CAREER NETWORK INTERVIEWS THE MAKERS OF PVC-1

THIS IS AN INTERVIEW WITH DWIGHT ISTANBULIAN, THE WRITER AND PRODUCER OF PVC–1

PVC-1 IS CERTAINLY A FILM TO BE STUDIED BY ALL FILMMAKERS AND ANYONE PURSUING A CAREER IN FILM. PVC-1 IS 83 MINUTES LONG, IT’S AN ACTION FILM WITH AN EMOTIONALLY DRIVEN STORY AND THE ENTIRE FILM IS SHOT IN ONE TAKE. THERE ARE NO EDITS IN PVC-1 AND IT WAS NOT SHOT WITH A STEADY CAM!

The film was shot with a Glide Cam.  PVC-1 should be included in the curriculum at all film schools across America in the filmmaking 101 course.  Any director could take a directing class from Spiros Statholopolous who only after one year in film school made this masterpiece of cinema.
